Views: 351 හබරාදූව ප්‍රදේශයේ කොග්ගල මාර්ටින් වික්‍රමසිංහ කෞතුකාගාරය ආසන්නයේ පිහිටි දුම්රිය හරස් මාර්ගයක දී අධ්‍යාපන චාරිකාවක් යමින් සිටි පාසල් ළමුන් රැගත් බස් රථයක් දුම්රියක ගැටීමෙන් අද (25) දහවල් අනතුරක් සිදුව තිබෙනවා. දුම්රිය හරස් මාර්ගය හරහා ධාවනය වූ බස් රථයේ පසුපස කොටස බෙලිඅත්ත සිට කොළඹ කොටුව බලා ධාවනය වෙමින් තිබූ සීඝ්‍රගාමී දුම්රියක ගැටීමෙන් මෙම අනතුර සිදුව තිබෙනවා.දුම්රියේ ගැටීම නිසා බස් රථයේ පිටුපස කොටස සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම විනාශ වී ඇති අතර, අනතුර සිදුවන අවස්ථාවේ දී බස් රථය තුළ පාසැල් සිසුන් පිරිසක් ගමන් කරමින් සිට ඇත. මෙම අනතුරින් 10 දෙනෙකු තුවාල ලබා රෝහල්ගත කර ඇති අතර ඉන් තිදෙනෙකුගේ තත්ත්වය බරපතළ වන බව ද වාර්තා වනවා.මේ අතර අදාළ අනතුර සිදුවන අවස්ථාවේ දුම්රිය හරස් මාර්ග සංඥා ක්‍රියාත්මකව තිබූ ඇති නමුත් රියදුරු අපරික්ෂාකාරීව රථය දුම්රිය හරස් මාර්ගය හරහා පදවා ඇත. බස් රථයේ රියදුරු පොලීසිය මගින් අත් අඩංගුවට ගෙන ඇති බවත් වාර්තා වේ. Bus Collides with Train at Koggala Railway Crossing An accident occurred around noon today (25) at a railway crossing near the Martin Wickramasinghe Museum in Koggala, Habaraduwa, when a bus carrying schoolchildren on an educational trip collided with a train. The accident occurred when the rear section of the bus, which was travelling across the railway crossing, was struck by an express train travelling from Beliatta to Colombo Fort. The rear section of the bus was completely destroyed in the collision. A group of schoolchildren was travelling inside the bus at the time of the accident. Ten people were injured and admitted to hospital, with three of them reportedly in serious condition. Meanwhile, reports indicate that the railway crossing signals were operating at the time of the accident. However, the bus driver allegedly drove across the railway crossing without due care.
