The Zam Zam Foundation Launched its “School with a Smile 2023” programme for the seventh year in succession on Sunday, December 11 at the BMICH in Colombo. The programme has so far supported 87,000 students from needy families across Sri Lanka to continue their education.

The inauguration was graced by Dinesh Gunawardana, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka as the chief guest of the event. Minster Ali Sabri, Minster Kader Masthan, State Minister Prof. Ranjith Bandara, Parliamentarian Dallas Alahapperuma, Diplomats, Officials, Community Leaders, Multi Religious Leaders, Well-wishers and School students also participated.

It was held under the patronage of Chairman of the Foundation Mufthi Yoosuf Haniffa and Welcome address was delivered by Zam Zam Foundation Director Ajward Cader.

The Prime Minister commended the work of the organization stating that the services carried out are exemplary and thanked on behalf of the Government.

Mufthi Yoosuf Haniffa handed over the Rs 72 Million worth school packs worth voucher for deserving students to the chief guest Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardana.
