Popular Sri Lankan model Chula Padmendra Kumarapathirana passed away today (31) at the age of 46. A prominent figure in the Sri Lankan fashion modeling industry for over two decades, she gained international recognition after winning the Media Award at the ‘Miss Tourism Model of the World’ pageant held in Tanzania in 2006. Sources close to her stated that she passed away due to a heart attack. Having participated in numerous local and international modeling competitions throughout her career, she also worked as a modeling instructor.
