ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගුවන් හමුදාවට අයත් Bell 212 හෙලිකොප්ටර් යානයක් අද උදෑසන මාදුරු ඔය ප්‍රදේශයේදී පුහුණු මෙහෙයුමක් අතරතුර අනතුරට ලක් වි ඇත.

හෙලිකොප්ටර් යානය විශේෂ බලකා සෙබලුන් කන්ඩායමක් සමග හිඟුරක්ගොඩ ගුවන් හමුදා කඳවුරෙන් ගුවන් ගත වී ඇති අතර තාක්ෂණික දෝෂයක් එම අනතුරට හේතු වි ඇති බව සඳහන් වේ.

A Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Bell 212 helicopter crashed in the Maduru Oya area earlier today while on a routine training mission.

The helicopter had taken off from the Hingurakgoda Air Force Base with special forces troops when it encountered technical difficulties, leading to the crash.
