Asian Media and Cultural Association (AMCA) new office bearers elected

The new board of officers of the Asian Media and Cultural Association (AMCA) for the year 2025/2026 were elected at the Annual General Meeting held at Dr. N.M. Perera Centre at Borella on Thursday (20).

Accordingly, Sisira Yapa, Ajantha Kumara Agalakada, Dr. Amila Kankanamige and Anura Jayathilaka were appointed as the Board of Advisors.
Pathumi Pascual and Nishantha Alwis were elected as the Chairman and the General Secretary respectively.
Sanjeewa Thisera was appointed as the Treasurer while Prasanna Adhikari was appointed as the National Organizer.
Thushara Hettiarachichi and Pathum Wickramaratne were appointed as the General Secretary and International Affairs Secretary respectively.
Jayasiri Munasinghe and Anusha Edirimuni were appointed as Vice Chairmen.
Sanjaya Muthumuni and Bhadrajith Soumya Kumara were appointed as Deputy Secretary and Vice Treasurer respectively.

Meanwhile Attorney at Law Santus Fernando was appointed as the Legal Advisor whilst Kumudu Vajira, Susil Suraweera, Dharma Sri Abeyratne, Damisiri Ajith, Udayashan Idamegedara, Ranjan Kasthuri, Surendra Abeypala, Chamara Samipath, Napagu Subramaniam, Sumith Mayadunne, Dilini Samanmali, Duminda Guruge, Gamini Bandaranaike, Ashika Brahmana, Helajeewa Randeniya, Udayajeewa Ekanayake, Deepal Warnakulasuriya, Tharaka Wickramasekera,
Rasika Somaratne, Mohammed Bari, Mithila Kodithuwakku, Thilan Punchihewa,
Jeewani Ridiwita were appointed as the Working Committee members.
